The beautiful Nakita

My lovely bride Nakita sent me this great photo of her posing on a deserted North Shore Beach. I designed her bouquet with white roses, cymbidium orchids & long strands of lilly grass. Her halo haku was designed with champagne baby tea roses & fragrant tuberoses. The traditional bridal lei had strands of pikake draped around her neck & looked stunning with Nakita’s dress.

I designed bridal bouquets for a photo shoot at the beautiful Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. The male model’s name is Wiki & he really stood out in the crowd. Listen up everyone in Hollywood!! I hope he gets discovered- he is a real doll & even more gorgeous in person.

Westin Moana Surfrider Hotel March 21, 2009

I had fun working with Whitney designing with her fun colors & whimsical style. The pink peonies were beautiful & the girls raspberry dress’s were smashing with green cymbidum orchids, raspberry mini callas & hot pink roses. The girls all wore flip flops at the reception held outdoors at the famous Westin Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki.

Ok I just thought I should post this again. I am getting so many inquiries about this bouquet that I designed for an editorial shoot for Pacific Weddings Magazine. I had a request last week to create this design in shades of pink for an upcoming wedding. For this design I used Wild Catt Orchids from Volcano, Hawaii & gold/orange cattaleya orchids from Oahu. You can read about this bouquet in the winter/spring 2009 issue of Pacific Wedding Magazine.
