wedding I loved working with Kristen & Britton on their wedding at Lanikuhonua on June 5. Her colors were so beautiful & easy to work with. I designed a beautiful wood arbor draped with fuchsia fabric & loaded with a full floral topper which we later reused on their sweetheart table. On the back & sides of the arbor, I draped long strands of crystals & hanging white orchids. We tied beautiful fuchsia wired ribbon on each ceremony chair cushion. After the ceremony, the guests were greeted with cocktails from the Catering Connection. Laura Lewis from Parasol Events coordinated the event wonderfully & the talented photography team from Visionari captured the event & magical evening. I designed a lounge area with our sofas, benches, tables, silk pillows, pretty linens & dramatic crystal chandeliers hanging over the event area. The florals on each table were stunning with loads of crystals dripping onto the table. I love the idea Kristen had for their reception sign in table. Each guest wrote a personal note on the back of a colorful Vintage Hawaiian postcard!

Rose Marie & John were such a wonderful couple to work with. I designed their wedding at the beautiful Bayer Estate in Aina Haina on May 27, 2010. Her colors of tiffany blue & crisp white blended so well with the green cymbidium & white Phaley orchids. We designed long tables with tiffany blue runners, white square plates & sea glass bottles on each table. Each table was named after a Hawaiian Island & Rose Marie brought little luggage tags with each guest name for the napkin place card. Crystal Chandeliers & long strands of white orchids were hanging in the beachside trees.

I got bombarded with 4 weddings beginning Dec. 28 & ending January 4, 2010. This raspberry & eggplant wedding was one of our most colorful & fun weddings over the weekend. Erinn & David flew in from the snowy east coast to have their wedding reception at the beautiful sea side retreat The Bayer Estate. We created a fun lounge area on the beach front with sofas & benches, pillows, vases of floating candles, and tiki torches on the beach. Erinn loved chandeliers so we had several hanging from the beach side trees. Our raspberry uplighting set such a pretty ambiance as the evening settled in. Luv the lounge area that we designed for Shay & Nobu in September at the Moana Surfrider Hotel on Waikiki Beach. I am also in love with photographers Wendy & Eric of L’amour Photography. I have to encourage all my brides to check them out. They are young, fresh & have great style. The ocean lawn looked stunning with all our white lanterns, candles & lounge area.

wedding I loved designing Kristi & Ryan’s wedding this past weekend at the Outrigger Canoe Club. We hung thousands of green & white dendrobium orchids from the ceiling, staged green paper lanterns & orange uplighting around the room. I hope to have more photos soon from this event.

This weekend at the Bayer Estate we had a perfect day for the beautiful wedding of Lorianne & James. The colors popped with bright orange & white overhead lanterns that we designed over long double wide tables of white crinkle linens with orange satin runners. The florals were hurricane candle cylinders surrounded with green cymbidum orchids, orange pin proteas, lilies, roses & green dendrobium orchids. Each napkin was adorned with a green spider mum & sea shells were scatter atop the table. I also created an initimate lounge area on the beach front with lounge benches, ottomans, nesting tables, & tiki torches. The historic Bayer Estate was the perfect setting for a beautiful sea side wedding for the couple. To pull the event together, catering by the fabulous Kahala Caterers & the multi talented photographer Chrissy Lambert. Thanks to Sooz at the Bayer Estate, Merri at Kahala Caterers, & Chrissy!!

We had a great wedding today for Robert & Chun Hee at the beautiful Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki. The colors were stunning : a sea of claret red satin table linens, hanging burgundy lanterns, chocolate brown wooden chargers & napkins. The florals of red roses, james storey orchids, & green cymbidium orchids were elevated on top of a custom made wooden box. We also custom designed a brown wooden arbor draped with red chiffon fabric & lots of roses & green cymbidium orchids for the couple’s ceremony. rentals I just love this intimate ceremony set up in the backyard of Kristina’s parents home in Aiea. The chuppah was covered with chiffon fabric & hanging strands of orchids & crystals. Guest sat under a matching canopy of drapey fabric with crystals & orchids hanging. It was a lovely setting!!
