It was a very low tide this Sunday AM when the Fab photographer Dave Miyamoto & I took off to shoot one of my latest table designs.We had fun frolicking over the rocks with Mr. Teddy Bayer from the Bayer Estate. He was so regal in his hot pink bow collar. I love this fuchsia crinkle & green dupioni silk linen combo. The bamboo containers of pink mokara orchids complimented it so well. Our new fuchsia covered ottomans, benches & all linen are available for rental.

I spent the whole weekend with one of my favorite photographers Dave Miyamoto. Many hours were put into thought & design of this newest dining canopy that we are promoting at the beautiful historical Bayer Estate in Aina Haina. The canopy is a dark stained wood with draping fabric, white lanterns, crystals & hanging orchids. It is available for rental as a complete set up. I love the night shot that Dave captured.

I love this classic black & white paisley print table linen from Wildflower Linens. I created a table scape of black vases with fuchsia & shades of pink peonies, roses, anthuriums, sherri baby orchids, & black tulips. We shot this table at the Classic Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. The black ostrich feathers & black palm leaves gave the feel of old Casablanca. Photography by Eugene Kam Photography.

Westin Moana Hotel,

wedding I enjoyed working with my bride Maleeda Wagner from start to finish. She had a great eye for color. We used beautiful orchids, roses, gloriosa lily in shades of corals, pinks, greens. Wooden bowls from Bali filled with floating flowers graced the ceremony aisle. Our brown wooden canopy arbor draped with long strands of green & white orchids created a grand back drop on the beach lawn of the Westin Moana Surfrider Hotel. The ceremony had a very exotic feel & I loved the bridesmaids coral dress’s. Maleeda looked beautiful! I hope to have photos from photographer Shawn Starr & Maleeda very soon!!

photographers Jeanne Marie from Jeanne Marie Photography is showing up all over town. She attended the grand opening party for the newest hot spot in town,” The Counter” in Kahala Mall where “Lost” star Daniel Dae Kim is part owner. It was a star studded event!! She was seen hob nobbing with all the celebs: Jorge Garcia, Michael Emerson, Josh Hollaway, Tia Carrere & Hannah Cornett. She raved about the food & says you should check it out. I had fun working with Whitney designing with her fun colors & whimsical style. The pink peonies were beautiful & the girls raspberry dress’s were smashing with green cymbidum orchids, raspberry mini callas & hot pink roses. The girls all wore flip flops at the reception held outdoors at the famous Westin Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki.
