Another beautiful sunset in Hawaii
I love this beautiful sunset photo from Dave Miyamoto at the beach in front of the historic Bayer Estate. Weather report today is 84 F & sunny.

This probably has to be one of my most requested designs for a centerpiece. I grouped 3 pieces of natural bamboo together to form one vase. Each opening has its own floral atop. Sunset colors are the most popular with tones of pinks being a close second. Bamboo is a very sustainable product & eco friendly too.
Here is a sneak peak of our new lounge furniture & pillows available for rental. The ottoman & bench covers are available in chocolate brown, white , fuchsia, & grey. The pillows are available in lots of colors!!
I designed this table on the veranda at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The linen was custom sewn here in Hawaii by my team & the cool feathery chair backs are from the fabulous Wildflower linens in San Francisco. The glass vase was filled with romantic flowers of roses, peonies, parrot tulips & white ostrich feathers accented with pink water & hanging crystals. This table has a feel of Old Casablanca & perfect for a romantic dinner for two.
I designed bridal bouquets for a photo shoot at the beautiful Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. The male model’s name is Wiki & he really stood out in the crowd. Listen up everyone in Hollywood!! I hope he gets discovered- he is a real doll & even more gorgeous in person.
I am still attracted to any design or color that has to do with the beach or sea. At my first spelling B in school, I was asked to spell the word ” Island” & wah lah , I have never forgotten. I have always been attracted to these sea colors. I went back into my archives to find some of my beachy sea shell theme designs. Enjoy!

I love the color combo that we created this weekend at Susan & Nathan’s wedding. Their wedding was originally scheduled for Mexico but at last minute got diverted to Hawaii because of the Swine flu scare in Mexico. Susan gave me her colors & I ran with the ball. With only 4 days to plan , we were able to give her this contemporary organic wedding that she had originally planned for Mexico. The wedding was held at the beautiful Moana Surfrider Hotel. With the help of Toni Tacata & the fabulous staff at the Moana, Susan & Nathan were so happy & had a beautiful wedding celebration!
We just got blogged on the fabulous site “Style Me Pretty”. Photographer Dave Miyamoto & Cake Lava submitted these photos of our wedding together for Carly & Matthew at the Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki. The flowers were clean & simple yet her colors were so eye catching. I designed her bouquet using mini callas, creme & white roses & lilly of the valley, a winning combo. I luv the Guava Lava cake that Cake Lava designed. Rick & Sasha you guys are sooooooooo talented!!
