Wedding at Lanikuhonua | Hawaii

When my Oahu dream team of wedding vendors merge together on the same wedding day at the most beautiful wedding venue by the ocean … magic is surely to follow in Hawaii. Our Tuscan inspired design for this wedding feels so at home to me with lots of silver dollar eucalyptus, Italian olive leaf and lush quality white blooms of garden roses, listanthus, and specialty blooms. Our botanical inspired weddings are timeless!

Lanikuhonua Cultural center is on the west side of Oahu within the city of Ko’Olina, Hawaii right next to the Four Seasons Oahu Resort. It was very convenient for the couple and their guests to stay so close by knowing that they are just steps away from their wedding venue. Lanikuhonua truly is where “heaven meets earth” the name given by James Campbell to describe this beachfront paradise! There are 11 acres of well mancured lawns and 3 areas to hold your wedding from intimate to large. The best part about this wedding venue in Hawaii is the jaw dropping view of the Pacific ocean and the expansive lush tropical garden grounds!

Our ceremony faces the Pacific Ocean with a simple brown wooden arbor draped in white fabric and lush botanical floral of white roses and vines. The entrance to the aisle has a welcoming feel with two entry ground florals that can be repurposed to the reception area after the ceremony. I love the modern simplicity of our ceremony set up. This area is steps away from the beach and crystal blue ocean and where alot of ceremonies take place. This area would be considered Lanikuhona Phase 1 ~ Ani Ani Ku which is the largest area at the venue. We have designed hundreds of weddings here!

Our botanical reception has a rustic yet elegant feel of a Tuscan dinner under the stars. I design lush hanging eucalyptus and olive leaf hanging floral chandelier from the ceiling of the tent. Long wooden farm tables were adorned with beautiful olive leaf and eucalyptus garlands that were simple yet lush! I loved the beautiful gold rim crystal glassware for the guests and the artistic napkins with the dinner menu printed on the fabric. I selected vintage brassware and candle sticks for the head table that were filled with lush floral blooms all accented with Tuscan olive leaf and eucalyptus. We designed lush floral centerpieces of blush and cappuccino roses, brown lisianthus and petite white blooms.

If you are getting married on the island of Oahu, I highly recommend Lanikuhonua as a wedding venue. The views are over the top beautiful all surrounded by white sand beaches.
