vintage rentals I just designed a new line of wedding teepees that we are in love with! The ideas & colors are unlimited!! We are now offering these teepees for set up at your wedding receptions or party. Children love them & they offer a great photo op for your guests or a quiet bohemian lounge get-away area for couples. This beautiful white sheer ” Ocean Cottage Lace” has a very eterical look & has a pretty lace boarder sewn around the edges. The sheep skin fur rug & pillows add for an inviting lounge area. I am sewing a very pale blush pink one that will be ready at the end of June! The 2nd photo is our “Beach Blush Vintage Lace” teepee with lots of ruffle fabric & lace. I have a smaller children’s size teepee in sea glass aqua blue or a shabby chic pink & grey. I am currently sewing a very soft buttery carmel color. All of our teepees include rugs, pillows, & lighting. Stay tune for more teepees in paradise!!

I just launched the rental of our newest collection of Vintage plates. These plates are gorgeous!!!! I have dinner, salad, dessert & butter plates available to rent now for all of my booked floral clients. The quantity per design is limited as these are the real thing! Placing mismatched plates on a table adds such character for that vintage touch of Eras Past! thank you Jeanne Marie Photography for shooting these pretty plates for me

What a lovely set up this was that we designed at the historical Bayer Estate. I created a vintage inspired floral & candle display with vintage votives, candles & vases of garden roses, antique hydrangeas & wax flower filler. We created a separate Bohemian lounge area close to the ocean/ beachside for Miho & Akiyoshi’s guest lounging & photos. Thirty minutes before the event was to end the State of Hawaii issued a Tsunami warning due to the earthquake in Canada & all beachside areas had to be safely evacuated. I will update this blog with more photos as they come in. All of our vintage/ bohemian details are available for rental.

I wanted to remind everyone that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I will be making a 10% donation on all orders from my brides who order any PINK Bridal Bouquets for the month of October until the end of the year ( 2012). My sister is a breast cancer survivor & we celebrated by enjoying a wonderful spa treatment at the amazing Spa Grande at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui. We attended the Spa’s opening night for Breast Cancer Awareness month while at the resort. The Maui Fire Department had these cute Pink MFD T-shirt’s that all the Maui firemen will be wearing for the month of October to bring awareness & raise money for Breast cancer. The firefighters already have raised more than $9,000. from the sale of the T-shirts & proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. MFD really rocks!!!!! Please enjoy a few of my PINK bridal bouquets & let’s all work together to stamp out breast cancer!!

My alter ego enjoyed creating these cool Bohemian dens at a few of our very unique weddings this summer. Designed at the beautiful historic Bayer Estate, these structures are designed with colorful fabrics (your choice of colors), lighting, floor seating on rugs with pillows, low tables & hanging crystals, ribbons, chandeliers or other lighting options. Guests have so much fun in this magical hide-away lounge area. We added a fire pit on the beach & a smores dessert bar next to the lounge area at one wedding. The Hookah lounge was designed at our annual Back to the Garden 60′s Party. Stay tune for the Next Shabby Chic wedding later this summer.

I designed this small intimate wedding reception last month at the Bayer Estate . Hemingway’s exclusive designer collection for the table design included our sand color matte satin linens, white designer chivari chairs, gold charger plates, vintage prism vases, hanging crystals & chandelier from the fabric draped canopy. wedding cafe I had so much fun working with Karen & Jim on Feb. 18, 2012 at the beautiful Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki. We created a cool beachy seaside table scape on the Diamond Head ocean lawn at the Moana. Our clean & crisp Nantucket white crinkle linens with a Tiffany blue runner & napkins , Mother of Pearl charger plates accented perfectly on this double wide 40 ft. long table. I brought in sand blasted mansanita branches & created natural Cape Cod organic looking centerpieces with seashells, phalaenopsis orchids, candles & dripping strands of crystals. This is one of my fav designed looks for a clean looking outdoor beachy wedding! Even though we are in Hawaii, it has a chic Palm Beach feel with these vibrant tiffany blues & raspberry pink accents! Love Love!!
